Baessler Night of Giving: A Celebration of Community Impact

February 27, 2024

At Baessler Homes, the spirit of giving back isn't just a seasonal affair—it's woven into the fabric of who we are as an organization. Our recent "Baessler Night of Giving", hosted by BH Impact, the charitable arm of Baessler Homes, exemplified this commitment. Bringing together our team members, their loved ones, and three valued community non-profits for an evening of generosity and camaraderie.

The premise was simple yet powerful: each team member, along with their plus one, was entrusted with $1,000 to give to one of the three chosen non-profits:

Centennial Food Pantry – The Centennial Elementary School in Greeley-Evans is providing more than just an education. They are caring for their students and families by providing food, resume help, laundry services and so much more.

Hope House of Northern Colorado – Hope House is a ministry in Greeley that cares for teen moms. They provide diapers, clothes, and food to teen moms in our area. They have a team of people who teach classes, mentor, and lead them with the support they need.

Platte River Veterans Fly Fishing – The mission of PRVFF is to provide rest, recreation, and rehabilitation for active duty, veterans, disabled veterans, and retired military personnel through fly fishing-related activities. By busying their hands to relax their minds PRVFF provides a sense of belonging and a path to healing.

Each non-profit was able to share their stories, touching the hearts of everyone in the room. In the end, the Baessler Homes Team donated a total of $55,000! A true testament to the profound impact we can achieve when we come together with purpose.

But our event wasn't just about cutting a check; it was about fostering relationships of our Team Members with each other and the community, providing a sense of belonging and empowerment.. We understand that not everyone may have the means to contribute financially on their own, and that's okay. What truly matters is the shared commitment to making a difference.

At Baessler Homes, our core values extend far beyond the office. Guided by our Mission to reveal the Kingdom of God through love and service, we embrace the value of passion— which we define as “an intense desire to be a blessing to our community”. We go further with this concept by teaching our Team generosity, which we further outline with L.I.F.E.—Labor, Influence, Finances, and Expertise— it’s a holistic approach to being generous that transcends mere monetary contributions. Through initiatives like the Baessler Night of Giving, mission trips to Guatemala, or monthly volunteer opportunities in the community, we empower our team members to embody this spirit of generosity in all aspects of their lives, both within and beyond the workplace.

By championing a culture of giving back, we not only enrich the lives of those we serve but also cultivate a sense of fulfillment and purpose within ourselves.

The Baessler Night of Giving wasn't just an event—it was a celebration of community, compassion, and collective impact. We were honored to play a part in enriching the lives of those around us, one act of generosity at a time, and cannot wait to see how Centennial Food Panty, Hope House of Northern Colorado, and Platte River Veterans Fly Fishing can further impact our community with hope, compassion, and healing.

Our townhouse was more than just four walls; it was the backdrop of some of our most cherished life moments. It was where we celebrated our engagement, welcomed our first child, and built enough equity to take the exciting leap into a new Baessler home. Annie assisted us with purchasing our home in Ault and we knew we were in good hands when we learned she was handling the Liberty Draw neighborhood also. Her intuitive matchmaking skills helped us navigate our sale with ease. When we expressed interest in Liberty Draw, she knew a couple who was eager for a townhouse in Ault. Thanks to her connection, we sold our townhouse off-market and moved into our second Baessler home sooner than expected. Our new home in Liberty Draw is a fantastic next chapter, and we’re excited to see our neighborhood flourish. Here’s to many more years of creating lasting memories with our neighbors in this amazing community.
