August 1, 2022

Congratulations to the 2022 Community Builder Scholarship Winners- Kellyn Dominguez, Audrey Zinn, and Kailea Eddlemon!

Last week, the Baessler Homes Team, along with the winner's families, had the opportunity to celebrate and honor the hard work and dedication of these students in their chosen field and community at Gourmet Grub in Greeley. Get to know the winners and their achievements below!

Audrey Zinn

Audrey's parents, Greg and Jennifer, accepted on her behalf. Audrey is currently attending Arizona State University for Aeronautical Management Technology & Professional Flight to become a commercial pilot. Audrey is an active member and officer for the Women in Aviation club at ASU which plans community events and also volunteers her time at local food banks. Her references describe her as having a servant’s heart.

Kailea Eddlemon

Kailea is attending Metropolitan State University for Criminal Justice with a Minor in Sociology to become a Child Family Investigator. Kailea came from a toxic childhood dealing with parents who battled drug and alcohol addition, divorce, and custody battles. She had to step up at a young age to support her 4 siblings. She has a deep passion for children coming from troubled homes and is active in her community currently pursuing her Court Appointed Special Advocates training. This a nonprofit group volunteering their time on case work for abused and neglected children. She also adopts a senior citizen and children every holiday to ensure they feel loved.

Kellyn Dominguez

Kellyn is currently working for UNC while going back to school at Adams State University for Higher Education Administration & Leadership to become a Dean or Executive Director. Kellyn is an advocate for at risk, minority students who focuses on supporting post-secondary options like trades and community colleges. She has been a support to students in and out of the school setting providing care and assistance they may not have at home. Being a 1st generation high school and college graduate in her family, her passion for this cause is evident.

Everyone on the Baessler team was extremely helpful! From viewing the model home to our final home walk through, they answered all of our questions and were very resourceful. I would recommend anyone looking into their first home to try Baessler! They made our first time home buying a wonderful experience!
