What is your design style?

February 2, 2015

Do you wonder about your design style? Do you mix patterns, prints and colors that appear seamlessly to work together? Or does you home reflect clean lines and minimalism? Although there are no right or wrong answers, determining your style can feel overwhelming. Over the next few months, I will present several different styles including pictures to help you determine your design style. Let's start with Transitional Style. Transitional style can be easily defined as updated classic or classic with a contemporary twist. This style is a perfect midway point between old world traditional and chrome and glass contemporary. Relaxed and inviting, this style is fresh and timeless. Transitional is very flexible making it easy to change the details to modify your look. Transitional Dining Room At Baessler Homes, creating transitional style starts with selecting the interior colors that complement the style. Our Design Concierge, Mallory, walks buyers through the process of selecting interior colors, cabinets and flooring selections.  Mallory's extensive experience can help any new home buyers to easily coordinate all the design elements to fit their particular style. I love my Baessler Home! It was refreshing not to get up-sold at every meeting we went to. At the design meeting, she only showed us an upgrade if we asked about it. We did not do very many upgrades, but still got a beautiful home. There are many options that were actually included. We chose the smallest/least expensive floor plan and still feel we got the same attention as if we were buying a much more expensive home. Not to mention it was finished right when we expected it to be! Everyone seemed very willing to help throughout the process - they were very proactive in working out the minor hiccups along the way. Overall, very positive experience and would recommend Baessler to anyone!
